Administrative Assistant, Investment Team

The Administrative Assistant is a critical part of the Investment team at Mariner, responsible for delivering extraordinary service and care. The primary responsibility of this position is to support Mariner’s portfolio consulting effort & larger investment team. In this role, you will engage with advisors to schedule calls, assist with follow-ups, help with investment-related content creation, and support the Portfolio Management & Consulting office. If you love building relationships, investments, managing a diversity of tasks, have a strong attention to detail, and want to be an important part of a growing team, then this opportunity is for you. The successful associate will be curious, caring, and genuinely demonstrate the highest level of client service.
Responsibilities
- Track advisors & schedule meetings for consultants
- Help maintain investment education materials
- Assist advisors in finding relevant investment materials
- Support Portfolio Management & Consulting and the larger Investment team
- Handle assorted tasks for the Sacramento portfolio consulting office
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong PC proficiency with MS Office Suite, CRM (Salesforce, Redtail, etc.)
- Positive attitude toward exceptional and proactive client service
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain the necessary attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills
- Able to work in a team environment
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a service-oriented role within a professional environment
- Wealth management or other financial service experience a plus
- Curiosity to learn about investments
