The Weigh and Dispense Stager position, within the Manufacturing Support Organization, will be responsible for ensuring materials needed for Manufacturing Runs are ready for formulation and process batch records.  This role requires an individual who is safety oriented and has a strong compliance mindset.

 

Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Production Technician I (Weigh & Dispense Stager). The successful candidate will perform staging of materials for Weigh and Dispense.

 

The schedule for the role is Monday-Friday with working of 9:00am-5:00pm. Candidate must be able to work flexible work hours and be willing to work outside normal, scheduled hours as needed.  Some weekends required.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Document and maintain activity records according to cGMP regulations
  • Perform SAP transactions (i.e. input materials into stage1, location of material, verify material availability)
  • Perform material creation and movement transactions in PAS-X
  • Issue materials to process orders and cost centers
  • Create labels for use in dispensing via the barcode system
  • Transfer of materials from locations via barcode system or keyboard
  • Removal of materials from area due to expiry date or returned to warehouse
  • Confirmation of supplemental request
  • Cycle counting and reconciliation of adjustments to and from inventory
  • Experience working in a cleanroom downflow booth. Performing Aseptic technique during weighing of materials
  • Lead/Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of the weight and dispense area
  • Must have good planning and time management skills and be willing and able to interface with colleagues in many different roles and functions throughout the manufacturing facilities
  • Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary company information

 

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

  • HS diploma and 1+ years cGMP biotechnology production experience preferred.
  • Operation of scales, Material Identification, and SAP experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work some weekends or Flex schedule as needed is required. (coverage for 12hr rotation and other duties)
  • Ability to perform standard calculations and computer data input.
  • Ability to lift or move 50lb from pallet to pallet or cage.  Over 50lbs require 2 personnel to move.
