Overall Purpose: To design and develop comprehensive IT architectural solutions and implementation plans, ensuring they are scalable, high-performance, and aligned with enterprise goals to drive technological innovation for the customer.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Architectural Design and Development: Design and develop IT architecture and system solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and enterprise goals.
• Implementation Planning and Monitoring: Create detailed implementation plans, estimate costs and time, and oversee execution for technical accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Consulting and Stakeholder Collaboration: Provide consulting services, collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and customers to translate needs into technical solutions and validate designs.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate advanced hardware and software knowledge, validate third-party components, and establish quality control and testing procedures.
• Performance Optimization and Risk Management: Ensure scalable, high-performance architectural solutions, manage risks, budgets, and resources, and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced understanding of sales principles, practices, products, and services.
- Manages large, complex sales with light supervision.
- Responsible for higher-than-average sales quota or territory.
- Demonstrates effective communication, advanced data analysis, leverages extensive experience, and problem-solving skills.
- May introduce new products, lead training, and mentor colleagues.
- Meeting with customers and engaging in sales activities at customer site; communicating with customers via phone, teleconference, e-mail, etc. related to proposed solutions/sales, etc.; traveling to/from the customer premise for sales activities.
- Providing subject matter expertise on technical sales issues; advising customers on suitability of products based on technical needs.
- Preparing proposals/presentations/bids, including developing pricing/strategic plans and proposed solutions/sales.
- Researching/developing solutions with AT&T external partners, including design/engineering; researching customer business/industry to identify new sales opportunitie.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 8+ years of related sales experience.
Our Lead Principal Architect's earn a base salary between
$114,400 - $171,600 + commission with a total target compensation of
$$146,900 - $204,100 (Southfield, MI)
$128,200 - $192,200 + commission with a total target compensation of $160,700 - $224,700 (Meriden, CT; Chantilly, VA, Columbia, MD; Washington, DC; Bedminster, NJ; Framingham, MA)
$137,300 - $205,900 + commission with a total target compensation of $169,800 - $238,400. (New York, NY)
