The Team:
Working autonomously within the busy Day Procedure Unit as part of a multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will work in liaison with Lead Clinicians, other CNS's and the Nurse Unit Manager of the Day Procedure Unit – LGH.
The Role:
Provides clinical leadership and direction to improve the quality and continuity of care and support to clients diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease related illnesses.You will need:
- Extensive experience as a registered nurse with demonstrated advanced clinical expertise in IBD Nursing
- Excellent demonstrated communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team autonomously.

Details of appointment:
- Permanent, part time, day worker position, working up to 12 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join us.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $118,297 to $125,543 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $102,439- $109,175 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Minimum 5 years full time experience in the area of Gastroenterology with extensive experience in IBD Nursing.
- Relevant post graduate qualifications or willingness to complete a relevant postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology and IBD.
