Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for appointments by collecting and documenting vital signs and health histories.
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests, while taking care to prepare and manage specimens for analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with confidentiality standards.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage day-to-day office communications efficiently.
  • Guide patients on treatment protocols and skincare regimens based on their unique needs.
  • Keep examination areas tidy, organized, and well-stocked with supplies following all protocols.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with dermatological medical terminology and relevant practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating effective interactions with patients and staff.
  • Capability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and care.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic competence in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software applications.
