As the Product Owner for Enterprise Platforms, User Interfaces, you will take the helm in driving the adoption and progressive evolution of our Workstation Framework, Broadridge's enterprise platform for User Interfaces/User Interface, micro front-end, and React-based components. Your role bridges the nexus between technical finesse and business acumen, fostering seamless collaborations with Broadridge product engineering teams and business stakeholders. Your foresight will ensure the Workstation Framework's ongoing enhancement to meet organizational objectives and user needs, while establishing a vibrant community of practice within Broadridge.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.
Responsibilities:
Taking ownership of the Workstation Framework, steering its roadmap, prioritizing backlogs, and ensuring its continuous alignment with business OKRs and user needs.
Championing the adoption of the Workstation Framework across Broadridge development teams, communicating its benefits and capabilities.
Establishing and nurturing a community of practice around the Workstation Framework and design methodologies, fostering a culture of shared learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Collaborating with a proficient team of designers, developers, and UX/UI specialists, nurturing a collaborative, performance-oriented, and innovative culture.
Steering the development and maintenance of our design system, ensuring consistency, usability, and accessibility across all user interfaces.
Translating complex business requirements into intuitive, accessible, and superior User Interfaces, enhancing user satisfaction and business productivity.
Advocating for the adoption and consistent use of modern design tools, frameworks, and methodologies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality User Interfaces.
Proactively identifying and addressing usability issues, leveraging user feedback, analytics, and best practices to continually elevate our user experience standards.
Ensuring the timely and on-budget delivery of projects, meeting or exceeding expectations in terms of quality, functionality, and user experience.
Staying abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in user experience design, micro front-end architectures, and the latest web development standards
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Design, User Experience, or a related field.
Profound understanding of Node-based back-end and React-based front-end technologies, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects using these technologies.
Solid experience in leading design initiatives, with a deep understanding of modern design systems, tools, and methodologies.
Experience with micro front-end architectures, understanding the challenges and best practices in developing and maintaining micro front-end components.
Strong ownership and visionary skills, with the ability to develop and drive roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
Exceptional communication skills in English, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical and design concepts to a variety of audiences.
Experience in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, gathering feedback, and translating it into actionable insights and improvements.
A forward-thinking mindset, with the ability to envision and articulate the future direction of the Workstation Framework and design at Broadridge.
Keen attention to detail, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions.
