Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Dewatering and Utilities Supervisor at our Turquoise Ridge operation. The Dewatering and Utilities Supervisor will supervise the Dewatering and Utilities crew in the operation and maintenance of site dewatering systems, and in the performance of inspection and maintenance activities relating to site-wide building services and utilities. The Dewatering and Utilities Supervisor also supervises the TR custodial services crew.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee surface mine dewatering activities and ensure that they are planned and executed effectively in support of mining operations.
- Manage multiple well field sites within the TR site.
- Coordinate with the TR Open Pit Operations team on dewatering priorities and ensure effective communication and support to the TROP department.
- Supervise the inspection and maintenance of building services and utilities site-wide, interfacing with the asset owners on problems and coordinating troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities on pumping systems, well fields, dewatering lines, building services (water/sewer/HVAC), ensuring effective use of the CMMS (SAP) and work management processes.
- Supervise the safe and effective execution of this maintenance work, either with in-house resources or through external contract resources as required.
- Supervise a crew of custodians in the execution of janitorial services site-wide, ensuring safety, quality of work and customer satisfaction.
- Manage contracts and contract resources pertaining to the scope of work.
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental permits and coordinate activities with the Environmental Department.
- Responsible for a safe and clean work environment.
- On an as-needed basis, operate specific equipment in order to complete tasks.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- SAP work scheduling experience (to plan operations and maintenance work, requisition materials, develop PM’s, and establish schedules) preferred
- 1+ years experience with well fields, pumps, etc. required
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. required
- Taste and smell a change in environment odors required
- Hear sufficiently to distinguish various pitches of warning alarms required
- Must be able to withstand exposure to heat and cold required
- Acts in a manner that builds trust and demonstrates integrity required
- Initiative, self-management, self-reliance; a sense of responsibility and ownership towards the job required
- Proven safe work record required
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions required
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people required
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job required
