General Summary:

The Operations Analyst facilitates the flow of orders through our database (and by extension, our physical warehouse). This role manages the domestic backlog, and works closely with 3rd party warehouse teams to drive volume. This role will handle EDI transactions, develop weekly forecasts, and provide reporting & sales support to upper management.

 

Reports to:  Operations Manager

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts daily audits to ensure data integrity between Netsuite and 3rd party applications.

• Manages the release of orders from domestic backlog. Reviews orders daily, and works with internal staff, warehouse teams, and other 3rd parties to resolve problems.

• Develops and maintains a rolling 13-week inbound/outbound shipping forecast. Coordinates with 3PL to meet targets. Reviews and maintains routing/vendor guide documentation. Leads monthly meetings with 3PL ops team.

• Processes returns, works with 3PL & CS team to resolve problems related to RMAs.

• Tracks weekly website and dealer reorder volume. Identifies trends and provides reporting on a weekly basis.

• Creates and maintains sell-through reporting for all key accounts. Identifies relevant KPIs, and shares insights with the management team on a weekly basis.

• Compiles preseason booking data. Leverages prebook data to generate in-season attrition reporting on a monthly basis.

• Facilitate sales activity with all EDI customers and key accounts. Audits item setup data. Conducts end-user testing of new EDI connections, and processes all EDI transactions for ‘live’ connections. Monitors fill rates and ship windows. Requests revisions, as needed.

• Compiles and maintains vendor agreement and routing guide documentation for ROUT and key accounts.

• Provides operational and sales support to upper management, as needed.

Required Skills:

• Intermediate Excel skills (including basic calculations, vlookups, & pivot tables)

• 1-3 years of experience working with a common ERP (SAP, Netsuite, etc)

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently

 

Minimum Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in sales support, logistics, operations, or supply chain

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• 1+ years of experience with purchasing, sales, and reporting tools in Netsuite.

• Knowledge of EDI transactions, and testing procedures.

• Proven experience as an Operations Analyst or in a similar role

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.

• Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent prior work experience
