Assisting Hands Home Care of West Houston is seeking Hospice Caregivers who have a heart for end-of-life care. This role is for those who understand the importance of empathy, presence, and emotional strength when supporting clients and their loved ones through their final journey.
Your Role
As a Hospice Caregiver, you will:
- Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, repositioning, and ensuring overall comfort
- Offer emotional and spiritual support to clients and families
- Monitor client conditions and communicate any changes to hospice nurses or supervisors
- Maintain a calm, clean, and respectful environment
- Prepare light meals, assist with feeding when necessary, and promote hydration
- Coordinate with hospice and family members to follow the care plan with sensitivity and professionalism

We’re looking for caregivers with compassion, professionalism, and the ability to provide care with heart.

- Reliable transportation

- Prior experience in hospice, palliative, or senior caregiving preferred
- Strong emotional resilience and communication skills
- Must pass background and reference checks
