The EY-Parthenon Technology M&A practice is serving private equity and corporates in strategy, due diligence, carve-out, integration and value creation & post-deal transformation. Today’s deals are no longer just about ‘putting capital to work’, but especially about smart performance improvement opportunity and value creation and the role technology can play to develop attractive investment cases.
We are seeking to further expand our team with a Technology M&A Senior Manager who��ll advise clients, support key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for transactions and maximize value for our clients.
Your new job | About your main responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, you will lead complex IT carve-out and integration programs within M&A transactions. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, shaping technology strategies that drive value creation across the deal lifecycle. This role requires strategic thinking, deep technology expertise, and strong leadership to manage multiple workstreams and teams in an international environment.
You will:
- Lead strategies and transactions, including IT due diligence, carve-out planning, integration roadmaps, and post-deal transformation.
- Overseeing pre-deal and post-deal IT workstreams while managing relationships with client stakeholders
- Advise C-level executives on technology implications of M&A, including operating model design, ERP strategy, IT architecture, and digital transformation opportunities.
- Oversee multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring quality delivery, risk management, and alignment with client objectives.
- Drive business development, including leading proposals, RFP responses, and go-to-market initiatives for Technology M&A services.
- Mentor and develop teams, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to managers and consultants.
- Collaborate across EY service lines to bring integrated solutions to clients, leveraging sector insights and technology expertise.

Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution
- Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in technology strategy, IT transformation, and M&A programs, ideally in top-tier consulting or large corporates.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale IT integration/separation programs and manage multiple workstreams under pressure.
- Deep knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, MSD), IT architecture, and business processes.
- Good understanding of data management and infrastructure (network, cloud, workplace)
- Expertise in operational aspects of M&A: TSA design, stranded cost analysis, Day 1/Day 2 readiness, and technology landscape evaluation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills at executive level.
- Fluent in English and Dutch.
