Consulting, Project Delivery Senior Analyst

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Senior Analyst in Indianapolis, Indiana and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Provide software testing and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Research user reported issues, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Perform testing activities by understanding business use cases and draft test cases that describe system requirements, entry criteria, and exit criteria. Create test cases for functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing for software implementation. Perform test estimation, test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting as well as coordinate testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing, including SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), End-to-End, and Performance Testing. Route all test cases, testing results and reports for approvals as per established validation protocols.
• 80% Travel required nationally.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:
• Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, utilizing Detail (DSD) and Preliminary System Development (PSD), and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions;
• Synchronizing White Box and Black Box testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing, utilizing HP Quality Center (QC), Atlassian Jira, IBM Rational Quality Manager (RQM), and Rational Team Concert (RTC);
• Testing sub-components of larger application systems and integrating the applications with each other and continuously optimizing the system structure to improve stability and performance, utilizing complex logical and physical designs including Entity Relationship (ERD), and class diagrams, interface design, and design specification including structural charts and prototypes;
• Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data and process models, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Office, Jira, Axure Share, and IBM RTC;
• Developing automation test scripts using ADA Compliance, Selenium, and Simple Object Access Protocol User Interface (SoapUI) for end to end validation of the user interfaces;
• Tracking system defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details bug fix and enhancement efforts based on the severity and priority of the defect using Jira, IBM RTC, and IBM Rational Requirement Management (RRM);
• Assisting in designing test plans and drafts and executing test cases using MS Word and Excel, and SnagIT; and
• Writing Database Management System (DBMS) queries of moderate to high complexity using SQL Developer, MySQL, and MS SQL Server.
