🚀 About the RoleQuantum Metric is looking for an experienced commissions specialist who is smart, passionate and process-oriented to join our growing finance team, and support the team in executing on its vision of providing world-class financial and analytical support, insight and advice to support one of the world’s fastest-growing global technology companies.  In this role, you will be a critical member of a top-notch team, and play a key role in supporting our variable compensation functions to support the organization’s continued growth.

🔧 Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will be responsible for one of the organization's most highly-visible and mission-critical functions, where you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide exceptional service to our elite GTM team by ensuring consistently accurate and timely commission processing, coupled with responsive and empathetic support for all commission-related inquiries
  • Execute commission calculations with razor-sharp accuracy, ensuring precise and timely payouts to our 100+ person GTM team and upholding the highest standards of financial integrity
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on variable compensation programs, policies and technology; which will enable you to effectively manage deadlines, escalate issues as they arise  and champion a mindset of process improvement across the compensation function
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of commissions accrual accounts, record commission-related journal entries and support accounting functions related to commissions
  • Work closely on cross-functional teams including sales leadership, revenue operations, people team, legal and finance to coordinate the development, implementation, and execution of variable compensation plans
  • Grow into a role where you can take the lead on performing detailed analysis of attainment, costs, and other business-critical people/performance metrics and share with leadership to facilitate a more robust understanding of our business
  • Perform audit/reconciliation functions and respond to  complex and sensitive employee inquiries concerning commissions with discretion
  • Other duties as assigned

💡 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 4-7 years experience in commissions, revenue operations, FP&A, accounting/payroll or applicable equivalent function
  • Established track record of successfully leveraging technology and designing/building process improvements designed to drive efficiency
  • Comfort with coordinating with and working alongside remote teams and the ability to work from an in-person office when necessary, such as to coordinate large projects or important deadlines
  • Experience working with large-scale enterprise sales compensation programs for high-growth companies that have seen rapid sales growth
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment where change is the norm; strong multitasking skills, and flexibility to quickly move from one project to the next
