The Banking Center Support team provides a Stellar customer experience and protects the bank from risk by monitoring accounts and supporting the Banking Centers. The team monitors and reviews new accounts, modified accounts, exceptions, and reports. The team also provides training and phone support to Banking Center staff, ensuring adherence to SOX controls.
The Senior Banking Center Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the Banking centers and internal departments on all deposit, teller, and CD/IRA procedures necessary to effectively support our Banking Centers. The Senior Specialist provides first call resolution response with appropriate guidance on policies, procedures, and processes necessary to address customer service issues. This role also supports special projects and process enhancements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Monitor required reports
2. Monitor new accounts, modifications and maintenance performed by Banking Center Employees
3. Monitor ASK Desk tickets timely and efficiently
4. Ensure new accounts, modifications and maintenance are compliant with SOX and all other local, state and federal regulations and guidelines.
5. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the documents, transactions, and systems reviewed.
6. Maintain daily document or procedural exception tracking by adding and clearing exceptions timely.
7. Act as a support hotline to Offices for document inquiries, account set up, teller and maintenance.
8. Achieve department goals set for accounts, maintenance, report reviews, and banking center support.
9. Respond quickly and professionally to all inquiries.
10. Provide excellent customer service to Stellar Bank employees and customers (internal and external).
11. Assist with special projects as assigned or needed.
12. Stay updated with core and secondary systems.
13. Compliance with any and all BSA/AML/CFT and Sanctions requirements set forth by Bank Policy and Procedure, including but not limited to timely completion of assigned training.
SECONDARY DUTIES
1. The position performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned by management.
2. Be knowledgeable about all CD/IRA regulations, keeping current on updated state and federal regulations as it applies to these products.
3. Write, maintain, and provide training on procedures, as needed.
4. Research and coordinate cross-functional support on complex compliance issues and documentation including required letters.
5. Recommend and implement process enhancements, writing requirements, creating test plans, and completing rollout.
6. Assist Banking Centers as needed with CD/IRA issues.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position is not responsible for the supervision of staff.
ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
The incumbent is in a non-confined office setting in which they are free to move about at will. In the course of performing the duties and responsibilities of this position spends time writing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 25 pounds), sitting, typing on a computer keyboard, and standing, kneeling and reaching.
The incumbent for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, copy and fax machine, adding machine, computer and related printers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
These specifications are guidelines based on the minimum experience required to perform the essential functions of the job. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines:
• High school diploma preferred or general education degree (GED).
• 3 years of experience in Deposit Operations or a similar role.
• Intermediate knowledge of regulatory requirements for banking centers.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail.
