As a Security Professional - Commercial Building - Part Time in Waco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in dynamic environments such as financial institutions and commercial real estate locations. Your primary responsibilities include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will serve as a key point of contact, responding to various situations with professionalism and care while assisting clients, employees, and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, including both interior and exterior areas.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Assist in controlling access to the premises and monitor entry and exit points.
• Help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas through visible presence and patrols.
• Document and report all incidents, security-related issues, and daily activities as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response activities and follow established protocols for various scenarios.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and interact with employees, visitors, and/or tenants in a courteous manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
