Get to Know the Opportunity

The Middle Office Senior Specialist will be responsible for supporting the operational lifecycle of separately managed accounts (SMAs), ensuring compliance, efficiency, and accuracy across trading and reporting functions. This role requires strong coordination with internal teams and external partners to uphold fiduciary standards and deliver high-quality service.

The Contributions You Will Make

• Maintain account status including terminations, below minimums, and frozen lists.
• Coordinate sponsor onboarding with Compliance, Sales, and SEI.
• Trade Execution utilizing SEI’s APL/OnBase systems.
• Uphold best execution, commission transparency, and SEC compliance.
• Oversee shared mailbox management for audit and investment team access.
• Participate in daily huddles to align SMA-related tasks.
• Collaborate with SEI and internal teams (Product, Client Service, Compliance, Risk) to ensure client deliverables are met.
• Implement process improvements to mitigate risk.
• Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of our back-office provider (SEI), including ensuring daily trades are communicated correctly, reconciliations are completed, and variances are resolved timely.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• 3 to 5 years of Industry experience within SMA operations or middle office functions.
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft products (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other PC-based software.
• Strong understanding of investment operations.
• Good analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to independently prioritize projects and work in a fast paced, multi-task environment.
• Knowledge of fixed Income and equity securities.
• Proficient with APL/OnBase, Bloomberg, Blackrock Order Management system -preferred but not required.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$65,000 to $75,000 USD
