Warehouse Operator

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operator to join us at our facility in Morton Grove, IL. 

Warehousing operations, including but not limited to the moving, loading, storing, inventorying, labelling, and billing of finished products, in accordance with Axalta Coating Systems safety standards and procedures as well as 2nd party requirements, using computer applications, physical labor, and powered warehousing equipment such as fork lifts, high-rise order pickers, in order to supply and service customer demands with the highest quality products on time and in full without error. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Palletizer - the transportation of finished products from the production lines to the warehouse for storage and/or orders 

• Re-Organization – Axalta Way 

• Basic SAP knowledge (troubleshooting managed by the Product Distribution Technicians) 

• Operation of powered material handling equipment (PMHE) to move, store, load, and unload hazardous finished product(s). 

• Physically pick, assemble, and load customer orders (LTL or small package systems) of multiple products, in multiple size containers. 

• Computer processing of inventory controls, shipping manifests, packing lists, and billing information. 

• Responsible to clean and/or assist with cleaning spills 

Key requirements: 

• Knowledge of basic computer functions 

• Knowledge of basic warehousing functions 

• Ability to use hand tools 

• Ability to be licensed to operate PMHE 

• Ability to lift up to 75 Lbs. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

• Ability to work in a wide range of climates 

• Ability to work in a safe manner 

• Ability to work in a self-managed environment 

• Ability to work occasional overtime or other assigned scheduled determined by the manager
