The US Data Integrity team within IQVIA’s Commercial Solutions unit comprises over 50 employees across multiple geographies and is an exciting and dynamic healthcare practice where you can start or continue your career in the life sciences industry. This position provides strategic and tactical support to the organization by understanding a variety of data situations and creating communications for clients who purchase one or more of IQVIA’s syndicated prescription, patient and/or sales data offerings (e.g. NPA, Xponent, DDD, NSP, WSP etc.). The candidate will also be responsible for providing support and responding to general questions about prescription and sales offerings to internal clients.  In addition, this individual would have the ability to function both independently and within a group. The ideal candidate will be attentive to detail and perform with a high degree of accuracy. This position requires strong communication skills and prioritization flexibility to handle tasks across multiple, concurring data events.

Job Description Summary:

Responsible for understanding data situations and creating communications for clients who purchase one or more of IQVIA’s syndicated prescription, patient and/or sales data offerings (e.g. NPA, Xponent, DDD, NSP, WSP etc.). The candidate will also be responsible for providing support and responding to general questions about prescription and sales offerings to internal clients.

Principle Accountabilities: 

  • Gains and maintains a thorough understanding of database issues, data investigations, client needs, processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Manages identified data situations cross-functionally to obtain timely resolutions
  • Provides analysis, support and solutions on impact analysis involving database issues and corrections
  • Helps to facilitate the effective communication of impact to IQVIA deliverables, platforms, and methodologies
  • Uses knowledge of internal databases and processes, along with client experience, to create clear communications. 
  • Supports timely communications and follow up with Client Service teams to guarantee messages are understood and appropriate plans of action are put in place.
  • Assists the Service teams in responding to general client questions and data questions
  • Uses established systems and processes to track and report progress on all major milestones, service levels, risks, and opportunities. 
  • Provides additional insight and interpretation of the data to enable appropriate resolution of business questions and/or issues, identifies customized solutions 
  • Independently leads online meetings and discussions (both internally & externally) related to project work/data analytics
  • May independently complete quantitative analysis and research to gain more in-depth understanding of trends 
  • Provides formal and written communications both internally and externally regarding issue status and resolution 
  • Identifies ways to improve and streamline business operations, driving process improvements aligned with desired customer outcomes 
  • May oversee Analysts’ workflow and analytics results, and synthesize for presentations

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s  degree in Communications, English, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences, or related field(s) preferred
  • Proficiency using Microsoft software tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access) 
  • Knowledge of the industry and an understanding of the marketplace 
  • Deep understanding of IQVIA data and methodologies
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience with data analysis, communications, and project management
  • Basic knowledge of SQL a plus, but not required 

Additional Requirements: 

  • Excellent communication skills are necessary, with experience in both written and oral communications. 
  • Requires analytical thinking and effective time management skills 
  • Ability to clearly summarize complex data analysis, market/data events & present results internally and externally
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
