What You’ll Get to Do:
Technical Editing and Documentation Delivery (90%)
Edit technical and nontechnical documents
Submit Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables to the Government in accordance with contract schedules
Meeting Support (5%)
Edit briefings
Record meeting minutes and action items
Managerial (5%)
Manage the CDRL Team ensure a cohesive team that is highly functional
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Manage the Information Management tasks of the PWS ensuring the program meets all requirements for document submittals and data archiving of the Contract Data Requirements List for Program.
Edit technical and nontechnical documents by reviewing content for completeness, accuracy, and correctness of grammar and punctuation.
Ensure that documents are formatted correctly
Draft concise and accurate meeting minutes
Upload CDRLs and other files to the Government’s SharePoint repository.
Ability to lead a Junior Tech editor and ensure their work meets standards for the program.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in applicable field (technical writing, English, journalism, communications or other related fields
7 years of related experience
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
Advanced skills with MS Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and MS TEAMs
Must have active Secret clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Experience in editing Government contract deliverables
- Experience in working with software development and delivery programs with associated documentation
- Familiarity with SharePoint and formal configuration control processes for documentation
