Sr. Graphics Designer (Visualization Specialist)

IT Concepts Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Sr. Graphics Designer to support our DOD Department of the Air Force contract, specifically the AF/A3 Operations Directorate to include the office of the Deputy Chief of Staff of Operations.

The Sr. Graphics Designer is responsible for designing and developing highly complex, diverse, and sophisticated data visualization and multimedia materials, including video-based products to automate AF/A3 content management and business processes. Advise the Government on the technical advantages and limitations of various formats, styles, media, and methods of reproduction, recommending those that most effectively address the information objectives. Provide the Government advice and guidance on the most effective organization and presentation of information without compromising the accuracy and authoritativeness of the information to streamline and automate processes that enable more efficient and effective executions of AF/A3 KM activities.

Location: On-site at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA.

Secret Clearance Required

Responsibilities:

• Research and apply knowledge of current trends and emerging technologies and techniques in the design of multimedia, data visualization, and graphics products supporting AF/A3
• Build and promote multimedia, data visualization, and graphic design projects to develop/implement the standard look and feel incorporating AF standards
• Analyze and test the integration of multimedia and graphics products with publishing and web applications to automate AF/A3 content management and business processes
• Support solutions to develop highly complex, diverse, and sophisticated data visualization and multimedia materials
• Support organization and presentation of information to include user experience, user interface, composed look, look and feel, and graphics design
• Assist with client-side solutions to streamline and automate processes that enable more efficient and effective executions of AF/A3 Knowledge Management activities
• Provide support to process improvement activities and to implement and manage AF/A3 task management processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• At least 3 years of experience working with Air Force/DoD and senior leadership (Government civilian and military)
• Demonstrated experience utilizing graphic design software and designing products for publishing on web applications and automation
• Demonstrated experience creating, editing, organizing, and storing digital file formats (e.g. tiff, gif, png, pdf, jpg, svg, html, css)
• At least 3 years of current experience within the last 5 years working with Knowledge Management projects or issues
• At least 3 years of current experience within the last 5 years in best practices for content management using the latest Microsoft applications, SharePoint 2013 or newer, and the full suite of Microsoft 365 capabilities
