Senior Treasury Accountant
This role offers an exciting opportunity to deepen your finance expertise while gaining valuable insights into Treasury operations. You will play a key role in managing and accounting for GSK’s Treasury activities across various finance entities. Collaboration is central to this role, as you’ll work closely with Treasury teams and other stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and effective controls. We value candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to simplify and improve processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post month-end journals for GSK’s Treasury companies.
- Perform full reconciliations on balance sheet accounts, providing commentary and movement analysis.
- Produce year-end statutory accounts in line with reporting deadlines.
- Maintain an effective control environment, ensuring all controls are completed on time.
- Collaborate with Treasury teams to resolve exceptions and support financial reporting obligations.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes, simplifying workflows where possible.
Qualifications/Skills
Basic:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, preferably in accounting.
- Fluent English (C1 level).
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in Treasury Accounting.
- Knowledge of IFRS standards.
- Familiarity with SAP systems.
Work Model:
This role follows a hybrid working model, with 2–3 days per week in the office located in Poland.

The annual base salary in Poland for new hires in this position ranges from PLN 127,500 to PLN 212,500 gross, taking into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. Depending on the role and internal policies, the position may also be eligible for a bonus (if applicable and based on defined, non-discretionary criteria) and/or awards for exceptional performance (granted at the employer’s discretion). All statutory benefits will be maintained in accordance with Polish law.
