Parts Counter Salesperson Job Responsibilities


Assist technicians, service advisors, and retail customers with parts inquiries and purchases
Accurately identify, price, and invoice parts using dealership software
Maintain strong knowledge of Ford parts, accessories, and supersessions
Ensure timely fulfillment of parts requests to support service department efficiency
Stock, organize, and maintain parts inventory and counter area
Handle phone and in-person customer requests professionally and promptly
Follow all dealership processes, safety guidelines, and manufacturer requirements


 

Parts Counter Salesperson Benefits & Compensation

The Parts Counter Sales Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. 


Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $23.50 and $32.00. 
The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

QualificationsParts Counter Salesperson Qualifications


Prior dealership parts counter experience preferred
Strong understanding of automotive parts and components
Ford parts experience a plus
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record


 

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
