Job Description Summary

The Associate Manager, Talent Acquisition, NA Field Services will play a key dual-role, balancing a blend of recruitment responsibilities and management duties. This position will be responsible for managing the recruitment process for assigned positions while also supporting the Manager or Senior Manager in overseeing a small recruitment team. As a recruiter, the Associate Manager will lead full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to offer. As a manager, they will provide guidance, support, and mentorship to a small team of recruiters, helping them meet their goals while ensuring the recruitment process runs efficiently. This role offers the opportunity to grow leadership skills while contributing to the success of the talent acquisition function. This role reports to the Senior TA Manager for Services and Commercial in North America.

Job Description

Recruitment Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Lead the recruitment process for assigned roles, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and final selection. Ensure high-quality candidates are identified and hired in a timely manner.
  • Candidate Sourcing and Screening: Use a variety of sourcing channels (e.g., job boards, LinkedIn, referrals) to attract top candidates. Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the roles.
  • Coordination with Hiring Managers: Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, align on expectations, and ensure smooth coordination during the recruitment process. Provide insights on candidate fit and interview feedback.
  • Interview and Offer Management: Manage the scheduling and logistics of interviews, ensuring a smooth process for both candidates and hiring managers. Support the offer negotiation process and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure that all candidates have a positive experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication and transparent feedback.

Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Manage Full-Cycle Recruitment: Lead and oversee the recruitment process ensuring the hiring of top talent through effective sourcing, screening, and selection methods. Support hiring efforts for key positions across multiple functions and levels for assigned region.
  • Collaborate with Business Leaders: Work closely with HR business partners and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies that align with business goals.
  • Lead and Develop Recruitment Team: Supervise and mentor a small team of recruiters, ensuring high performance, continuous development, and alignment with recruitment objectives. Foster a team environment focused on collaboration, excellence, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Attract and Source Talent: Implement targeted sourcing strategies to build inclusive talent pipelines and leverage innovative recruitment tools and channels. Partner with the Talent Attraction team to execute employer branding initiatives that attract top talent.
  • Optimize Recruitment Processes: Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and time-to-fill metrics. Identify opportunities for streamlining and eliminating inefficiencies.
  • Drive Inclusion Initiatives: Ensure recruitment strategies support inclusion goals by attracting a wide range of qualified candidates and promoting an inclusive hiring process.
  • Utilize Data and Metrics: Track, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts, identify trends, and recommend improvements. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and improve recruitment outcomes.
  • Foster Cross-Regional Collaboration: Ensure functional recruiting alignment and consistency across regions by collaborating with Talent Acquisition Managers and teams in other regions to share best practices, processes, and tools.
  • Collaborate with External Partners: Partner with GEV Mgmt to work collaboratively within the ecosystem of GEV partners including recruitment agencies, contractors, and other external vendors to support sourcing and hiring efforts as necessary.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain knowledge of local, regional, and global employment laws and regulations, ensuring recruitment processes comply with relevant legal requirements and internal policies.
  • Provide Insights to Leadership: Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on recruitment trends, labor market conditions, and competitive insights, ensuring talent acquisition strategies are proactive and aligned with organizational needs.
