We are seeking a dynamic Lead Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong focus on automation to join our Consumer Technology Experience team. This role is vital for ensuring the performance and reliability of both new and existing applications and interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in designing and implementing automation frameworks and a deep understanding of quality assurance best practices.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Testing Techniques: Utilize advanced testing techniques to design, develop, and analyze test plans and strategies. Write and execute detailed test cases, and troubleshoot defects for various applications.

• Integrated Testing Solutions: Develop comprehensive testing solutions that address cross-dependencies between different organizations and programs. Formulate data and environment strategies using architectural skills and methodologies to meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security requirements.

• End-to-End (E2E) Testing: Conduct E2E testing encompassing the entire customer experience, including sales, ordering, provisioning, activation, billing, payment processing, and customer service. This requires extensive knowledge of network integration to ensure services function correctly, are properly billed, and issues can be resolved effectively.

• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Scalable Solutions: Implement scalable and efficient solutions using modern web frameworks and programming languages such as PHP or Python.

• Performance and Reliability: Ensure the performance and reliability of software components for seamless operation of our client’s automation platform.

• Code Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews, write automated tests, and maintain high code quality standards.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance the platform's capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Education: Preferred Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Developer Nanodegree or equivalent experience is also acceptable.

• Experience: Typically requires 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance with a strong emphasis on automation.

• API Automation Expertise: Extensive experience in API automation using various tools, with proven expertise in creating automation frameworks from scratch.

• API Testing Tools: Proficiency in API testing using tools such as SOAP UI, POSTMAN, or READY API.

• Agile Experience: Demonstrated experience in Agile project environments.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of the telecommunication domain is highly desirable.

• Cloud Applications Testing: Experience in testing cloud applications is preferred.

Our Lead Quality Assurance, earns between $118,800.00-$178,200.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
