About the role
The VP of Digital Marketing develops the digital marketing strategic vision and oversees operations to enhance sales, attract new customers, and bolster retention. Aligns digital marketing strategy with Crumbl’s overall goals and objectives. This role oversees the teams that execute paid media, email & SMS marketing, SEO, and organic social media marketing, among other channels.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Builds and manages omni-channel digital marketing campaigns to support product launches, partnerships, tentpole moments, and evergreen marketing in collaboration with direct reports
- Collaborates with data analysts to identify and monitor key data points that reflect marketing performance, attribution, and impact
- Leads paid media, lifecycle marketing, and organic social media teams, mentoring and building talent among leaders and individual contributors
- Sets digital marketing goals across various channels, and monitors the progress toward those goals
- Owns Crumbl’s martech stack, ensuring current tools are used effectively and driving impact, and exploring additional tools needed
- Manages Crumbl’s digital marketing budget, optimizing spend across various channels
- Evaluates customer data and analytics, consumer insights, and market research to understand areas of opportunity to develop and optimize the digital marketing strategy
- Develop segmentation and targeting strategies for marketing campaigns in collaboration with direct reports and executive leadership
- Liaises with external partners and vendors, maintaining positive working relationships and managing contracts, order forms, and other legal documents
- Oversees and managers reporting on campaign results and team performance, giving key insights and recommendations to executive leadership
- Collaborates with other internal teams as needed to meet company-wide objectives
- Optimizes workflows and automations to boost the efficiency of the team
- Monitors industry trends and lead experimentation with new channels and creatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, preferably in a high growth organization
- 3+ years of experience leading a results-driven team
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar field
- Proficiency in data analytics
- Experience working with external partners and agencies preferred
- Exceptional writing, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaborator, able to effectively partner with cross-functional team members to meet objectives while maintaining positive working relationships
- Innovative, with a balance of analytical and creative thinking
- Ability to set up efficient and effective processes, manage, and meet deadlines
- Self-starter—someone who takes initiative with a natural drive to get things done
- Problem solver, able to stay focused and calm in the face of change
- Ability to mentor and build managers and teams
- Experience in D2C and eCommerce preferred
