THE JOB:

As a Convention-Banquet Assistant Chef at MGM Grand, you'll be the driving force behind extraordinary culinary experiences that leave a lasting impression! Your expertise will ensure that every dish not only meets the highest standards of quality and presentation but also captivates our guests’ senses.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Maintain quality and proper presentation of food

• Drive the customer relation management system by ensuring that all such orders are handled correctly

• Communicate with chefs, management, employees and guest efficiently with proper reporting, and meetings

• Schedule and maintain the budgeted labor costs as well as potential food cost

• Understand and utilize Stratton Warren system properly for purchasing, release orders and cost transfers

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in a high-volume setting

• Knowledge of the methods, processes, and tools for maintaining the books of the organization and preparing financial statements and reports
