Company Description
Reporting to the VP, National Accounts, you will lead our execution efforts within all Circle K, Inc locations and will oversee a team of (5) Regional Account Managers to implement our Small Format strategies at over 7,500 Circle K, Inc stores. You will manage relationships within Red Bull North America and collaborate with multiple groups (Trade Marketing, Distribution, Regional leadership) to ensure that both the retailers objectives and our goals are achieved.
This role is also eligible to sit in the following locations: Los Angeles, CA and Chicago, Il.
Job Description
BUSINESS PLANNING AND EXECUTION
Manage your team to call on Circle K leaders to use Red Bull's assets and inspire differentiation from competitors.
Influence Circle K field leaders to implement incremental promotions/programming above Home Office foundational plan to increase volume and win share
Use Red Bull marketing assets and manage associated funds designated to accelerate business across all regions
Exceed volumetric/revenue targets
Produce business updates, promotional programs, and resources distributed to national network (internally and externally)
Monitor market trends, and consumer and competitor information to calibrate and guide regional plans
Attend annual roadshow presentations, in market store visits, and Distributor Partner visits
Manage all internal Circle K t standard Operational Process including Asset Protection, cooler order process, VOLT App credentials, Pay from Receipt
BUDGET OWNERSHIP
Oversee total P&L across all regions
Manage custom multi-million dollar POS budgets and evaluate Return on investment to inform future spend
Allocate resources where the investment has the highest payback with important high-volume regions
Perform post-promotion analysis process following all programs to evaluate promotional effectiveness and in-store execution
Forecast CAPEX/OPEX spend with consideration of prior year performance
LEADERSHIP
Guide account managers to develop successful programs and important retail relationships
Coach and motivate direct reports for increased productivity through time in field, office, and meetings to implement our strategy
WIRE TO WIN
Establish wiring model that ensures all local, regional, and national decision makers are wired with Red Bull and Distributor Partner personnel
Maintain business relationships with senior management across Circle K nationally
Ensure all accounts' decision makers carry a long-term focus on the energy segment with supporting strategies
Maximize the impact of our support within Circle K by establishing deep ties between marketing and analytics departments
Use the inputs of marketing and finance experts to develop plans and conceptual sells to the trade
DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT
Partner with distribution network to maximize in-store presence and consumer impact
Establish necessary tools and business review templates to ensure data consistency with BUs and DPs
Use Business Insights and analyst teams to provide the distributor network and field with selling tools
Align the DP network with appropriate Circle K personnel
Collaborate with DP Senior Leadership to grow business in top volume regions
CUSTOMER PROFITABILITY MANAGEMENT (CPM)
Maintain working knowledge of all Red Bull systems (BI, IRI, CPM, Workbench, etc.)
Lead our priorities and results across CPM (a long-term business transformation process) as it relates to ALL Key Account processes.
Develop trainings and processes to ensure CPM becomes part of RBNA culture
Qualifications
10+ years of Sales and Key Account experience
Leadership experience
Experience analyzing internal and external data sources (i.e. Nielsen, IRI, CPM, Sales Data)
In-depth knowledge of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) industry
Must be extremely proficient in software packages (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) and internal systems (CPM, SAP/BI)
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
