Sr. Modem Engineer

Glint Tech Solutions is hiring Sr. Modem Engineer in Scottsdale, AZ. This role supports ground station development and restricted defense systems, focusing on modem software design, coding, testing, and integration for mission‑critical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Code, test, integrate, and document modem software solutions (C++, C)
• Perform requirements analysis, research, and feasibility studies
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with software/hardware systems
• Collaborate with senior management, engineering teams, and external customers
• Provide leadership and direction to junior engineers when required

Must‑Have Skills

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's in Software Engineering (8+ yrs exp) OR Master's (6+ yrs exp)
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols, Linux, software‑defined modems
• Experience with DevSecOps, cloud (AWS preferred), and network systems
• Proficiency in C++ and C
