Work Environment Our outpatient office is designed to foster collaboration and focus on patient-centered care. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Here, physical therapists have the opportunity to engage closely with patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, incorporating comprehensive histories and targeted assessments to develop individualized treatment plans aligned with orthopedic rehabilitation standards. Implement effective treatment protocols tailored to each patient’s unique needs, demonstrating a high level of skill and knowledge in the latest therapeutic techniques. Continuously monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans and communicating with other healthcare professionals as needed. Engage in discharge planning that emphasizes long-term health and wellness for patients, ensuring they understand their follow-up care and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Document care activities accurately within the required electronic systems, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and quality assurance processes. Participate actively in facility meetings and team discussions, contributing ideas and solutions to improve patient care and operational efficiency. Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice caters predominantly to orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist at Trailbound Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, you will work with diverse populations, including athletes, post-operative patients, and those with debilitating conditions. Your role will be to support them through rehabilitation, educating them on preventative measures and self-management strategies to enhance their recovery process. Qualifications A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position. A current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is mandatory. Preferred Experience At least two years of clinical experience, particularly in an outpatient orthopedic setting, is preferred. Experience with electronic medical records and documentation systems enhances your application. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
