Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The Sr Sales Strategy Analyst will partner closely with US commercial leadership to examine complex business challenges, providing strategic, data-driven insights that directly influence critical business decisions. The Sr Analyst will build solid, strategic business partner relationships with the executive commercial leadership of two regions within the US.

This is a highly data intensive and consultative role that works extensively with large, dynamic datasets to support commercial strategy, performance optimization, and customer targeting. The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical and statistical skills, enabling them to consolidate disparate data sources, identify critical business drivers, and effectively communicate with and influence key stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive actionable insights through proactively identifying emerging business trends, risks and opportunities, and delivering recommendations that inform strategic recommendations.
  • Build a deep understanding of business drivers and trends with the ability to translate data analyses into actionable insights that influence executive decision-making
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and credible partner to multiple VP & Director level business partners, leveraging advanced data analytics to drive key business strategies
  • Clearly articulate thoughtful, data-informed recommendations and provide well-supported rationale when engaging in strategic discussions.
  • Proactively identify and drive initiatives to improve internal processes and scale business insights
  • Drive and enhance recurring quarterly deliverables for the US clinical business, such as executive reporting packages, sales performance reporting, territory design, and quota modeling and allocation
  • Regularly contribute to brainstorming sessions with peers and leadership and work with both US and international teams to drive the exchange of insights, best practices, and innovations

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of work experience in sales operations, business intelligence, sales strategy, business operations, or a similar statistical role
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify the complex
  • Innate curiosity and aptitude to interpret trends, outliers, and context-based nuance
  • Self-motivated to seek out resolutions, resources, and share knowledge
  • Ability to work autonomously with little instruction in a fast-paced environment, while prioritizing across different levels of deliverables
  • Highly organized with an ability to support and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency with statistical and data visualization software
  • Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL
  • This role requires working onsite in our Peachtree Corners, GA office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week

Required Education and Training

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field; Master’s is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Tableau
