POSITION PURPOSE
Develop relationships in the community to help support interns in finding employment after graduation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES
- Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to create job opportunities for Project SEARCH interns.
- Attend networking events in the community to help build relationships within each Project SEARCH community.
- Provide ongoing support and retention to businesses that we currently partner with.
- Present about Project SEARCH to at local events.
- Develop Business Advisory Councils (BAC) for each Project SEARCH or a statewide BAC
- Strengthen relationships with Arkansas Rehabilitation Service (ARS) counselors
- Maintain accurate documentation and track employment outcomes
- Collaborate with the Project SEARCH instructors, skills trainers and other team members to support intern success.
- Assist with helping interns/graduates find the right job match.
- Protect and maintain intern privacy.
- Collaborates with all members of the team, including the funding partners (ARS, ACCESS, host business, parents, co-workers) effectively.
- Be able to maintain a flexible work schedule- this position will require traveling, working during the evenings and weekends.
- Must have a driving record that meets ACCESS’ policy and the insurance carrier underwriter guidelines, as required.
- Ensures that all paperwork necessary is complete and timely.
- Must maintain a personal vehicle in safe and operating condition, as required.
- Will need to provide immunization records, complete a TB Skin test, take an annual flu shot and other tests/screening as required by hot businesses.
- Must pass background checks required by host business and ACCESS.
- May need to attend host businesses orientations and meet all requirements of host businesses (examples include- hair color requirements, nail length, tattoos, piercings, smoking guidelines, drug free, etc.)
- May perform other related or non-related duties, as assigned

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, environments and situations can change quickly. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear for extended periods of time. They may need to be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time. They may need to bend, squat, stretch, twist or reach out with the body, arms and/or legs as required.
