About the Law School

Led by a dynamic new dean with a deep commitment to development, Cornell Law School ranks in the top tier of American legal education and is widely-recognized a go-to school for those seeking jobs in elite firms upon graduation and who aspire to significant careers in many areas of the legal profession. Too, it is home to cutting edge scholarship and world-leading faculty.  It also is one of the most genuinely diverse law schools anywhere, known for its small, close-knit community and for a wide range of clinical and pro-bono programs which provide access to justice for vulnerable populations in Central New York and around the world. The Law School in many ways exemplifies Cornell’s identity as an elite institution with a land grant mission.
