We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Pricing & Compliance Analyst. This position reports to Director of Product Management and will work in our Litchfield, Illinois office.

About the position

Dometic Marine’s facility in Litchfield, IL is our main distribution center that manages the packaging and distribution of aftermarket marine and OPE industrial products.

Pricing and Compliance Analyst is responsible for managing monthly pricing updates, analyzing customer profitability, and supporting compliance reporting across marine & outdoor power equipment product lines. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing accuracy, optimize margins, and maintain regulatory compliance, contributing directly to our strategic business goals.

Your main responsibilities

    PRICING:

    • Communicates, prepares, and processes monthly price changes in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Establishes a system of documentation, communication, and review of internal and external comparative price data.
    • Prepares data analysis and output reports for product, executive management, and pricing manager.
    • Assists in preparing analysis to assess actual performance against budget, prior year, and recent trends.
    • Maintains database of key customer price data used to calculate customer profitability.
    • Validates/reconciles large quantities of data against source systems, industry norms, current trends, and common business acumen (impact to margins, overall profitability by part)
    • Review margins and make pricing recommendations based on data collected.
    • Develops and manages special quotes.
    • Create price files and load sheets to upload per customers’ requirements.
    • Responsible for updating customers on part activity (new, changing, and obsolete)

    COMPLIANCE:

    • Completing compliance report templates upon request of customer.
    • Validating prop 65 compliance for Ops and QC team.
    • Campaigning suppliers for part number specific compliance details that is not currently reported in the system.
    • Participate in monthly meetings with our compliance system provider.
    • Receive reports from them requesting info for supplier to complete campaign.
    • Work closely with Customers, Product Management and Compliance System Provider.

A suitable background would be a solid experience within and internal pricing & product compliance– as well as the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree within Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent experience
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel & XML at intermediate to advanced level.
  • Experience with data from multiple sources and understand key relationships, worked within relational databases.
