ROLE SUMMARY
The Specialty Care (SC) Field Medical (FM) Therapeutic Area (TA) Strategy & Execution Lead reports to the Specialty Care Field Medical TA Group Lead and serves as a core member of the SC FM TA Leadership Team and is a key partner with the SC FM Team Leaders and designated stakeholders.
ROLE RESPONSBILITIES
Leadership:
Serves as the Lead for development and implementation of SC FM TA Group strategies, tactics, and executional and related enablement processes for the SC FM TA group.
Serves as a member of the SC FM TA Leadership Team (LT).
Leads development of TA Medical Insights Report encompassing the analysis and synthesis of field medical Insights / Data, Facts, Observations (DFOs) across SC TAs and leads a team of SC FM TAs in the development of a summary report for dissemination to cross functional stakeholders and the pertinent USMA LT members.
Represents the SC FM TA Group with the Medical Content Team (or its successor organization) and the respective GCMA processes to ensure an ongoing pipeline of approved therapeutic area content for proactive and reactive use by the SC FM TA Group.
Leads the innovation and development of new customer-facing SC FM TA resources and tools for US and Field Medical including digital, video, and evolving technologies.
With the SC FM TA TLs, is responsible for organizing and executing onboarding and initial and continuous training for new SC FM TA hire including maintaining an SC FM TA Onboarding and ongoing Training Plan for TA content and ensuring relevance and alignment with Medical Affairs strategy and ensures full alignment with other trainings offered by the Field Medical Excellence Group.
Leads and facilitates execution of key SC FM TA processes and initiatives for the Group.
Develops and leads development of both therapeutic area capabilities and customer-facing skills and ensures SC FM TAs continuously improve their customer-facing capabilities.
Provides insights and feedback to individual SC FM TA TLs and individual SC FM TAs to strengthen FM TA capabilities and implementation.
Partners with Medical Information (MI) to provide expert input into Scientific Response Documents (Medical Letters) and ensures updates as needed.
Approve Adjudicated Impacts for the SC FM TA Group.
Leads the coordination of PA and PM support for the SC FM TA Group with leadership of the respective platform lines.
With the Group Lead, conducts analyses of field medical data across all teams and contributes to report generation for/with the FM TA TLs, cross functional stakeholders, and the US Medical Affairs (USMA) Leadership Team.
When designated by the Group Lead, liaises with the US Field Medical Governance/Compliance Lead and Legal, Compliance and Governance on processes and issues related to the SC FM TA Group.
Strategy and Business Planning:
As a member of the SC FM TA LT (FM LT), contributes to the development and execution of the SC FM TA Group’s TA medical strategies, tactics, and activities and ensures alignment with the respective US Medical Affairs brand-team plans for in-line and late-stage product strategies and objectives.
Ensures that the SC FM TA Group has a clear and consistent medical narrative for its TAs and ensures regular updates to optimize executional performance by the SC FM TA Group.
With the SC FM TA LT, ensure that the SC FM TA Group is aligned on a clear set of field medical TA priorities on a regular basis.
Develop resources such as roadmaps and playbooks to ensure consistent executional approaches across the SC FM TA Group at major national and international scientific congresses.
May represent the SC FM TA Group on teams across Pfizer US or across business units for Field Medical Governance as requested by the SC FM TA Group Lead.
Serves on FM TA and/or cross-functional, cross divisional and cross business unit committees as directed by the SC FM TA Group Lead.
Maintains key stakeholder relationships as agreed upon with the Group Lead.
Executional Management:
Ensures continuous training and understanding across the SC FM TA Group related to medical governance, legal, compliance and other applicable policies.
Provides expertise and leadership for the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (OneMed) for the SC FM TA Group. Serve as or identify “super user(s)” for other relevant systems for Field Medical.
