RN-Clinical Care 12 Hour, Telemetry (FT, Days) Monterey Park Hospital

Overview

Monterey Park Hospital, located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is searching for a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry. This is a full time, day shift position. Monterey Park Hospital is a 101 bed acute care community hospital. Monterey Park Hospital has provided our community with advanced medical and culturally sensitive healthcare services for over 50 years. The RN provides care, treatment, counseling and health education to the hospitalized patient. This position reports to the Director of Telemetry.

 

Responsibilities

The Telemetry RN provides care, treatment, counseling and health education to the hospitalized patient. The RN is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum. This planning and coordination includes meeting and exceeding compliance with core measures, contributes to reduction in LOS, active participation with all aspects of quality, safety and performance improvement activities, collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians and the public. Meets and exceeds CDPH, The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory requirements.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Education: BSN preferred.

Minimum Experience: New graduates welcome, new graduate program offered - or six months of recent experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Current registered nurse license for the State of California;

Current BLS, ACLS, and EKG certification required upon hire.
