Senior Closing Manager

What You’ll Do:
The Senior Closing Manager leads our national closing team. This role is responsible for ensuring a world-class closing experience for our customers by managing, monitoring, training, and motivating team members to deliver outstanding service while ensuring we close all homes ready for delivery.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead a group of closing managers to provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
- Attend weekly backlog meetings for all divisions assigned.
- Develop, implement, and drive quality standards consistent with sound closing practices.
- Daily and weekly reporting of our performance against expectations and thoughtful analysis of how we can improve.
- Create a customer-focused culture in a positive working environment.
- Resolve escalated issues that can cause closing delays.
- Address inquiries from transaction participants promptly.
- Analysis of open tasks remaining to close on delivered homes.
- Ensure proper training and onboarding of new closing managers.
- Review and execute closing documents.
- Respond to requests from accounting for timely closing information.
- Conduct period audits to ensure process compliance.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
What You Have:
- Experience in managing closing workflows and processes that quickly move a file to closing.
- Familiarity with various title policy forms and typical endorsements.
- Knowledge of builder residential purchase/resale transactions from receipt of contract through final disbursement and any post-closing items.
- Experience in monitoring a closing pipeline of residential homebuilder purchase and resale transactions to ensure meeting Close of Escrow dates.
- Ability to resolve escalated closing issues quickly to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable directing team members by addressing obstacles hindering members from meeting deadlines.
- Skillful in managing multiple priorities to help teams actively progress on their deliverables.
- Thorough knowledge of technology use and proficiency in a primarily paperless environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Able to calculate discounts, prorations, and commission splits accurately.
- Exemplary organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented and precision-focused.
- Proven ability to drive results and work in an outcome-driven environment.
Your Education and Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience handling closings, preferably in a builder environment, and experience managing a team.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in Microsoft Office.

Compensation:
Century Communities (the "Company") intends to offer the selected candidate an annual base salary in the range of $110,000 - $120,000 with the potential for other financial incentives. Actual offers will be based on a variety of factors, including experience. Employees will have access to paid time off, medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and the Company's 401(k) plan.
