Sharkey’s Cut for Kids, the top-rated kids hair salon latest salon in Shoreline, WA. Seeking an experienced salon lead and stylist who will lead successful store operations and provide an unforgettable customer experience. 
JOB DESCRIPTION: You have the drive to help grow a team of stylists at a kid first hair salon. Must have an upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettable fun and exciting haircut experience for each of our customers.  Point person for the daily operations of the salon and ensure that best practices are followed in both customer satisfaction and business optimization. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, customer-centric atmosphere.  RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Enjoy working with children and families to create the best haircut experience and strong store reputation
• Develop a culture of excellence, fun, and accountability
• Provide excellent haircuts for a kid first salon
• Work directly with ownership to optimize the salon experience & financial success
• Coach and support team on technical and salon best practices
• Organize & coordinate with staff for employee scheduling
• Track store inventory
• Oversee and maintain the health and safety of customers by following the laws and rules set forth by the state board of cosmetology/barbering. Report directly to ownership

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum two years experience leading, coaching, and training teams. Store operation experience. Able to work weekends.   COMPENSATION:: Competitive hourly wage, tips, & opportunity for bonus based on key performance indicators of salon operation being met. Note, $35 per hour includes estimated tips based on historical data
