RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Program Manager in providing leadership, direction, and oversight for all program activities.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring program tasks and deliverables are executed on time and meet performance requirements.
  • Assist with the management of common support requirements, including service request tracking, operational engineering activities, and incident resolution.
  • Monitor program schedules, resource allocations, and task assignments to maintain efficiency and progress.
  • Support the execution of Change, Configuration, and Release Management (CCRM) processes, ensuring patches, updates, and system changes are tested and implemented effectively.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to address risks, resolve issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program continuity.
  • Assist in managing program risks, tracking metrics, and reporting progress to the Program Manager and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with security and operational requirements, including vulnerability remediation, STIG updates, and RMF processes.
  • Review and validate program deliverables, including system documentation, technical reports, and performance updates.
  • Support financial and resource accountability, including cost monitoring and optimization.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams, Government stakeholders, and the Program Manager to ensure alignment and communication.
  • Facilitate program reviews, working groups, and operational forums, providing status updates and performance insights.
  • Oversee the integration and sustainment of emerging technologies, migrations, and upgrades into enterprise environments.
  • Assist with team leadership, mentorship, and performance management to ensure high levels of accountability and collaboration.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Secret clearance with SSBI
  • Active CSEP certification
  • BS in technical field and at least 12 years of program management experience (some PM experience may originate in the military, but the candidate must have at least three years of PM experience in industry)
  • Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Army IT operational and technical requirements
  • Experience leading a large, technically complex organization
  • Demonstrated success and experience managing contractors in a DoD environment, working with Military and civilian leadership, while obtaining mission success and program profitability.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, after hours, holidays, and weekends, as necessary
  • Understanding of the Army’s Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN-A)
