Senior Engineering Lifecycle Management SME

Expertise and Functions:

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management suite
• Perform all administrative functions for the IBM Engineering tools, including user management, license management, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Provide technical support and training to engineering teams on the effective use of the IBM Engineering tools
• Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the IBM Engineering tools and processes
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the seamless integration of the IBM Engineering tools with other systems
• Manage and maintain the DB2 database associated with the IBM Engineering tools
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
• Stay up-to-date on the latest IBM Engineering tools and technologies
• Quickly adapt to new situations and technologies
• Occasionally work late night maintenance windows to support patching as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Training:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s Degree in technical/scientific discipline preferred
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, or higher required 

Experience:

• 6+ years of direct experience in relevant IT roles
• Experience as an IBM Engineering SME, with in-depth knowledge of:
• IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM)
• IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM)
• IBM Rhapsody
• Experience performing administrative tasks and providing support for the IBM Engineering tools
• Experience with DB2 database administration and management 

Requirements

Security:

• Must be a US citizen
• Candidate must be in possession of a Secret Security Clearance or higher

Physical Requirements:

• Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $130,000 - 190,000
