Sr Sales Manager | Intermodal - International

Job Summary
Manages a portfolio of International container shippers within the Intermodal department. Portfolio revenue exceeds $100 million.

Primary Activities and Responsibilities

• Design, market, sell and manage CSX Transportation (CSXT) services to several International Intermodal accounts in Intermodal department.
• Negotiate and close large, complex commercial proposals in conjunction with all relevant CSX groups including Marketing, Service Design, Operations, Customer Service, Industrial Development, etc.
• Create and execute strategic account plans for customers.
• Lead and strengthen business relationships within CSXT and customer organizations while pushing each for improved performance or increased business levels.
• Lead and develop improved service plans with customer and appropriate CSX groups, including Service Design, Operations, and Customer Service.
• Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
• 5 or more years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business/Strategic Management, Sales, Account Management, Marketing, or Finance

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate Degree
• 3 or more years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business/Strategic Management, Sales, Account Management, Marketing, or Finance

• Ability to handle complex Fortune 500 Accounts
