Monday-Friday Part-Time (9am/10am - 2pm/3pm)

Responsibilities

• Transfer data from paper and/or electronic format into computer files or medical records database systems
• Maintain spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Manage the retrieval of data from the source or electronic files as requested to Vendor
• Perform regular audits to ensure data preservation
• Additional duties requested by Director, as not listed

Qualifications

• Experience in data entry
• Strong knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
• Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA Compliance
• Basic understanding of Nextgen Practice Management System
• Basic understanding of Modernizing Medicine Practice Management and EMR system
• Strong attention to detail
