Our Legal team is seeking an experienced and motivated attorney with experience in commercial transactions related to digital advertising to join our growing Legal Platform+ team. As Senior Counsel, you will report to VIZIO's Associate General Counsel, Platform+ and will be working closely with other attorneys supporting VIZIO's Platform+ business. About the Legal Team:

Our Legal Team operates at the heart of Walmart's business, providing critical support and guidance to various departments. We are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethics while driving business success. As a Senior Counsel, you will collaborate closely with our sales and business development teams, ensuring that our commercial transactions align with both legal and business objectives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Negotiate and draft commercial transaction agreements in the ad tech sphere, including advertising agreements, rate cards, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Evaluate legal and business issues with a practical, business-oriented approach.
  • Support strategic initiatives, including cutting-edge technology and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide legal advice on complex business and legal issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement legal strategies.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Juris Doctorate from a U.S. accredited law school and licensed to practice law in California or qualify as California in-house counsel.
  • Experience with digital advertising and working with ad sales as well as advertising clients and agencies.
  • Experience handling online data privacy and security related matters; privacy certifications preferred (e.g., CIPP, CIPT, or CIPM).
  • Strong negotiation, drafting, and advisory skills on a variety of agreements.
  • Ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
