In this exciting role, you will be leading manufacturing operations assembly, machinery, processing, packaging, and/or distribution of Medtronic products. at our Danvers facility. The Danvers Site has been part of Medtronic since 1984 and serves several internal partners that require delivery systems for it's therapies.  A Danvers product impacts a customer somewhere in the world about every 2 seconds. Danvers has annualized cost of goods of about 120 million USD supporting revenue of 8 billion USD.  The site supports eleven  Medtronic OUs with finished goods and components and employs over 1000 people. The site operates several product lines like: Guide Catheter, Export, PWP, Guardwire, Enveo, Spiderman, MRI, CryoCath, Fusion, Micra, Needle, TrailBlazer, React, Bolero and Sensight.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
• Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
• Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
• Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
• Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
• Management Skills: Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Collaboration and Productivity Software, Effective Communication Skills.
• Functional Skills: Machining and Manufacturing Technologies, Proficient computer skills, Data Science and Analysis, Lean Manufacturing and continued improvement, Managing Quality.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree required

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have:

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership
• Strong communication, manufacturing process, product industrialization and leadership skills. 
• Experience presenting to Senior Leadership
• Knowledge of DFMEA and PFMEA   
• Experience in validation (IQ/OQ/MSA/PQ) in a medical device environment

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$103,200.00 - $154,800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
