Join our amazing team as our newest Kennel Assistant! 

We are adding a Kennel Assistant to our team. Our kennel staff are responsible for providing a clean, efficient, and healthy environment for the animals being treated at the hospital. 

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:

• Safe handling and restraint of patients using Fear Free techniques 
• Cleaning, laundry, sweeping and vacuuming 
• Feeding and watering 
• Walking and exercising 
• Restocking and monitoring inventory 
• Ensuring the well-being of pets 
• Assisting medical staff in outpatient and surgical procedures including monitoring.

What You'll Bring:

• Must have previous animal experience 
• Previous experience in cleaning 
• Must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects 
• A sense of fun and teamwork – Smiles and laughter are required for all who apply 
• Dependable and able to work independently 
• A willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for hospitalized pets
