Product Owner

As the Product Owner at Aviture, you will be responsible for defining the features and direction of the products that Aviture builds for its external clients. This includes working with clients and Aviture's creative engineering teams to help facilitate innovation and visioning of products that meet the needs and goals of the clients. You will work closely with the development team to prioritize and schedule work, and will be responsible for communicating product plans and progress to both the development team and the client. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the products delivered meet the needs of the client and are of high quality.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of product development methodologies and have experience working with cross-functional teams. You should also have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and be able to effectively manage and prioritize a backlog of product features. You should also have a strong ability to facilitate collaboration and visioning between clients and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with clients and Aviture's engineering teams to facilitate innovation and visioning of products that meet the needs and goals of the clients
  • Prioritizing and scheduling work for the development team
  • Communicating product plans and progress to both the development team and the client
  • Ensuring that delivered products meet the needs of the client and are of high quality
  • Managing and prioritizing the product backlog

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Management, Business)
  • Strong understanding of product development methodologies
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a backlog of product features
  • Strong ability to facilitate collaboration and visioning between clients and engineering teams
