Account Manager - Eurofins Environment Testing Eastern Analytical

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Manages assisnged or developed accounts in the segments defined in the business plan, under general supervision
• Actively participates in developing sales and marketing approaches
• Develops a business plan in accordance with the Eurofins Environment Testing Eastern Analytical business plan and takes the lead when cntract and pricing negotiations are necessary
• Gathers research data neccessary to accurately reflect the general competitive business climate. Data is maintained and updated as neccessary to keep Eurofins Environment Testing Eastern Analytical in the forefront of a maturing industry
• Develops and maintains competitive information regarding strengths, weaknessess, services offered, priving and capabilities
• Researches and develops information to support and assist lab in setting and meeting budgetary and forecasting goals, both short term and long term
• Participate in industry specific technical, business and trade organizations
• Coordinate and prepare bids, proposals and related promotional material
• Provide regular and timely record of all sales activities and customer contacts
• Develops sales and marketing meetings to review sales and customer activity and discuss any new information relating to the marketing of Eurofins Environment Testing Eastern Analytical services
• Maintains accurate mailing lists
• Meets or exceeds sales goals
• Actively participates in the development of sales goals
• Follows all relevant QC/QA procedures found in the most current revision of the Eurofins Environment Testing Eastern Analytical QC/QA Manual
• Actively maintains a safe and healthy working environment
• Participates in the management of hazardous waste by ensuring hazardous waste is properly segregated, labeled and stored in accordance with Eurofins Environment Testing Eastern Analytical procedures
• Maintains sample security and confidentiality procedures as described

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the environmental business, locally, regionally and nationally.
• Knowledge of general business practices and procedures.
• Understanding of a sales cycle
• Excellent customer serice, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team Player
• Computer literacy
• Understanding of Eurofins Environment Testing Eastern Analytical business climate

Education

• BA or BS in Business, Marketing or related technical field
• Equivalent experience in sales and marketing in a related field

Experience

• Preferred 3-5 years technical sales and/or marketing in the environmental field

Additional Information

Candidates within the commutabel distance of Concord, NH are eligible to apply. This role will be a full time role, first shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Monday - Friday. 

Salary: starting at 65,000 base in addition to competitive commission plan, car allowance, relocation assistance, benefits and PTO. 

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business section, and geographic location
