We’re seeking a Corporate Controller (CPA) who will play a key role in overseeing our accounting operations and ensuring the financial health of our business. Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing and revenue recognition
- Produces the monthly, quarterly financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with GAAP principles; highlight significant Actual vs. Budget variances
- Develops and maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; recommends changes and implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk
- Works with external auditors and tax firm and provides needed information for the annual audit
- Oversees employee expense reimbursements, commission tracking and recommends/implements process efficiencies
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
- Provides updates to benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance
- Helps develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies
Position Proficiencies and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least 10 years of relevant experience within the Enterprise Software industry.
- CPA highly preferred
