As a Security Guard – Patrol Driver Manufacturing in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. This primarily driving role involves conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unwanted behavior.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and on-site personnel to support security-related requirements at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Document and report incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activities according to post orders and Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist in controlling access to the premises, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shack is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
