We are currently seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US).

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Engineering: Utilize your experitise in building data pipelines within AWS and Oracle to process data within a data warehouse as well as developing routines for managing data quality. 
• Innovation and Learning: Quickly learn new technologies by applying your current skills, staying ahead of industry trends and advancements. Self-identify the need for new skills to be developed and adopt new technologies into your skill set in a month’s time.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with financial services clients to build modern data solutions that transform how they leverage data for key business decisions, investment portfolio performance analysis, and risk and compliance management. Manage multiple stakeholder groups and their requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate within a Pod of 4+ data engineers, working towards common objectives in a consultative fashion with clients.
• Data Movement and Transformation: Use AWS services and Python for data movement, streaming, and transformation services, ensuring efficient and reliable data workflows.  Leverage a strong understanding of SQL to analyze data and develop transformations.
• Industry Leadership: Work with a client that is leading the industry in using data to drive business decision optimization and investment management strategies.

 

Basic Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in AWS Data Services (Lambda, Glue, S3, RDS)
• 4+ years of experience with SQL and Oracle databases (PL/SQL).

 

Additional Skills:

•  Proficiency in the following areas:
  • Data Warehousing: Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
  • Python: Advanced skills in Python programming for data engineering and data pipelines.
  • Data Integration: Proficiency in integrating data from various sources.
  • Data Platforms: Strong knowledge of relational databases and data warehouse/data lakes.
  • Data Pipelines: Experience in building and managing data pipelines.
  • AWS: Experience AWS services such as S3, EC2, Cloud Formation, IAM, and Lambda.
  • GitHub: Proficiency in using GitHub for version control.
  • Jenkins: Experience in using Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.
• Learning Agility: Ability to quickly learn new technologies by applying current skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly and efficiently.

 

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $91,548.00 - $190,726.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
