This role is based onsite at our Memphis facility and is second shift - Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30PM
Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment
Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding
Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment
Uses hand and power tools
Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment
Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications
May act as a team lead and assistant to the supervisor / manager
May delegate tasks to other team members and be responsible for the review of work product
Trains, delegates and reviews the work of lower level employees and may be responsible for leading daily operations of a work team
Must Haves
High School Diploma and 5+ years of Facilities/Maintenance experience
Nice to Have
Background in multiple maintenance trades (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, welding, or HVAC)
Experience performing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Familiarity with CMMS systems for work orders, asset tracking, and maintenance documentation
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Experience troubleshooting automated or semi‑automated equipment
Prior experience leading or mentoring maintenance technicians or acting as a lead
Knowledge of safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA requirements
Basic computer skills for reporting, documentation, and communication
Experience supporting continuous improvement or reliability initiatives
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
