Summary
Provides onsite Human Capital support and oversight in the Austin, Texas office. Responsible for Human Capital management and administration, including business partner relationship management, performance management and employee relations, recruiting and retention, job evaluation and classification, safety, HR compliance, Human Resources policies and procedures and Human Resources recordkeeping. Provides management consulting on employment matters.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Build team capabilities by coaching and delegating. Continually communicate priorities and progress to the team, and create a sense of urgency and engagement around priorities
• Act as a role model for direct reports in service delivery, handling change, and managing challenges
• Guide the implementation and administration of the Prosperity Human Capital Management (HCM) policies and procedures including salary administration, performance assessment and management, recruitment, and job evluation
• Provide consultation with management in performance management initiatives on motivational strategies, leadership and personal career development
• Ensure effecctive recruiting for Austin based roles including assisting management in screening, interviewing, selecting and placing high quality, qualified candidates in a smooth, efficient manner
• Consult with managers and employees in all aspects of Human Resources services and compliance related matters. Interprets and communicates all personnel policies and procedures. Responsible for employee relations.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment legislation, and all immigration related regulations
• Serve as an internal training resource in areas of subject matter expertise
• Responsible for developing and maintaining legally required human resources records
• Provide regular reports to senior management regarding HR metrics
• Administer other personnel services and practices
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 6 years experience managing HR functions for multi-state and global organizations
• Prior management reponsibity for other Human Resources profressionals
• Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws, including immigration related compliance
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage change and priuoritize in a fast paced environment
